YOUTH RUGBY: Holyrood Year 9s turn on the style
THE Year 9s rugby team at Holyrood Academy in Chard put in a thoroughly good performance to defeat Woodroffe School by 39pts-7.
A big defensive effort coupled with an expansive attacking style ensured the Holyrood victory. There were tries for Lewis Hole (two), Nathan Fowler (three) and Chas O’Shaunessy (two) with Harry Clifford adding two conversions.
Man of the match was James Salaman for an outstanding all-action display.
