CLUBS AND SOCIETIES: In the frame for South Petherton Carnival Day

MEMBERS of South Petherton Photographic Society will be showing off their photos during their annual one-day exhibition today (Saturday, September 10, 2016) as part of South Petherton Carnival Day.

The exhibition will be held at the Blake Hall in South Petherton between 10am and 4pm and members will be showcasing their different photographic interests and styles.

A society spokesman said: “There will be a colourful and interesting gallery of prints with opportunities for visitors to share their own photographic experiences with club members or ask for photographic advice, while relaxing over a cup of tea or coffee and cake.”

Admission is free.

South Petherton Carnival fun itself starts at 7.30pm this evening and the colourful cavalcade will make its way through the streets of the village – starting off from the Recreation Ground.
