SOUTH SOMERSET NEWS: Sentimental items of jewellery stolen in burglary

POLICE are appealing for witnesses following a burglary at a house in Somerton in which cash and jewellery were taken.

Offenders broke into the house in Acre Lane through a front window sometime between Friday, July 1, 2016, and Monday, July 4, 2016.

A police spokesman said: “Some of the items of jewellery stolen had great sentimental value to the victims.”
