SOMERSET NEWS: Body found in search for missing Michael Mingo
THE body of a man has been found during the search for missing Michael Mingo, a police spokesman said tonight (Thursday, June 30, 2016).
Mr Mingo, 27, was reported missing on Tuesday (June 28, 2016) from the Langport area and police put out an appeal.
But a police spokesman has said tonight: “The body of a man was recovered from the River Parrett at Langport shortly before 1pm today.
“While formal identification is yet to be carried out, Mr Mingo’s family has been informed.”
The spokesman added: “The death is not being treated as suspicious and we are now carrying out enquiries on behalf of the coroner.”
