SOMERSET NEWS: Police appeal following incident in alleyway

POLICE are appealing to the public for help in identifying two men they would like to speak to in connection to an incident in Wellington.

Officers believe these men can help them with their enquiries regarding an incident in an alleyway between 71 High Street and the St John the Baptist Church churchyard just after 4pm yesterday (Monday, June 27, 2016).

The men are both described as Eastern European.

The first man is white, in his late 20s – early 30s, approximately 5'5"-5'6" and of medium build. He was wearing a blue Adidas tracksuit with stripes on the trousers, and a hooded top with the hood up. He was also wearing white trainers. 

The second man was described as also in his late 20s to early 30s, approximately 5'5 - 5'6" and also of medium build. He was wearing a black Adidas tracksuit with stripes on the trousers. He was also wearing a hooded top with the hood up and black trainers.

A police spokesman said: “Did you see anyone answering that description in Wellington yesterday? Or do you perhaps know who they are? Do you think that is you we are describing? If so, please get in touch with DS Andy Pugh on the 101 number and quote reference 5216140745.
