YEOVIL NEWS: Toilet block fire at Buckler’s Mead Academy
FIREFIGHTERS have said that a fire in a toilet block at Buckler’s Mead Academy in Yeovil earlier today (Wednesday, May 11, 2016) was started deliberately.
Two fire engines from Yeovil were mobilised to the school in St John’s Road where officers found a fire involving a plastic dispenser in a toilet block.
The toilet block and corridor suffered from smoke damage.
A spokesman for the Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service said: “The cause of the fire was deliberate.”
