YEOVIL NEWS: Microwave fire in Goldcroft

FIREFIGHTERS were called out this afternoon (Tuesday, April 12, 2016) following reports of a fire at a house in Yeovil.

The alarm was raised at 3.15pm to the incident at a property in Goldcroft and two fire engines from Yeovil were mobilised.

Officers discovered the fire involved a microwave and they removed the appliance to the open air.

“The cause of the fire is thought to be accidental,” said a spokesman for the Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service.
