LEISURE: The Wizard of Oz tickets selling fast - don't miss out!

TICKETS are selling well in advance of Castaway Theatre Group’s forthcoming production of The Wizard of Oz at the Octagon Theatre in Yeovil.

The Yeovil-based Castaways are busy rehearsing ahead of the show which will be performed at the Octagon form June 2, 2016, through to Saturday, June 4, 2016.

There will be performances nightly at 7.30pm, plus a Saturday matinee at 2.30pm. Tickets for the matinee are selling out very fast.

The show is under the direction of Castaways’ founder Lynn Lee Brown with Matthew Holmes as musical director and Kirsty Beaumont as choreographer, with an army of helpers and supporters ensuring that this will be the group’s finest ever production.

The Castaways have already been performing medleys from The Wizard of Oz over the past 12 months or so and last year took part in a show at the Theatre Royal in Drury Lane, London, in front of a 1,500-crowd.
