SOUTH SOMERSET NEWS: Stokes Partners support St Margaret’s Hospice

CREWKERNE solicitors firm, Stokes Partners, has helped St Margaret’s Somerset Hospice fundraising volunteers become more recognisable in the community and at events.

Stokes Partners has come up trumps by providing t-shirts and tabards which will be worn by all hospice fundraising volunteers when working on behalf of St Margaret’s.

Managing partner, Brendan Pang, said he was delighted that Stokes Partners had chosen St Margaret’s as its chosen charity of the year for 2016.

“Like us, St Margaret’s Hospice, is at the heart of the community and is a cause that we really want to get behind throughout this year,” he said.

“We feel they reflect our own ethics of dedication, care and support and we look forward to getting involved in their campaigns and fun events such as the Colour Run.”

Hospice corporate and partnership fundraiser, Claire Hart, said: “Our volunteers are amazing and Stokes Partners have kindly recognised this and the valuable role they play.

“This amazing support from them enables us to provide them with smart work wear to present a professional image which will no doubt help us to raise more funds and become better recognised.

“We are very grateful to the Stokes Partners for choosing St Margaret’s as their charity of the year for 2016.”

Claire added: “We still need more people to become valued volunteers and we have different roles to suit everyone’s availability and commitment levels. So if you are aged over 18 – why not go to our website to apply.”
