SOUTH SOMERSET NEWS: Chimney fire at Chard
FIREFIGHTERS had to deal with a chimney fire at a property in Chard last night (Wednesday, February 3, 2016).
They were called out to a home in Hillside at just after 7.15pm and they got to work to put the fire out using chimney gear and a thermal imaging camera.
A Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: “Crews also carried out an inspection of the loft space to check for any fire spread.”
