CHRISTMAS 2015: Santa Dash in Yeovil for St Margaret’s Somerset Hospice

AROUND 200 people dressed as Father Christmas will be seen in Yeovil tomorrow (Sunday, December 13, 2015) for the annual Santa Dash in aid of St Margaret’s Somerset Hospice.

The event is being held at YeovilCountryPark and being kindly sponsored by Milstead Langdon and Goldenstones Leisure Centre.

The festive fun-filled event is aimed at runners, non-runners, families, work teams – in fact, just about anyone.

All proceeds will go towards St Margaret’s Hospice, helping them to continue their vital work in Somerset.

The race is 4km and registration will take place at Goldenstones Leisure Centre between 9am and 10.30am with the race getting underway at 11am.

It will cost runners £10 for adults, £7 for those affiliated with English Athletics, and £5 for children aged five to 16. It will be free for the under-fives.

More than 140 have already registered to take part – although organisers are expecting more to turn up on the day.
