SOUTH SOMERSET NEWS: Music fundraiser for Ilminster CC

ILMINSTER Cricket Club will be holding a fundraising event at the Shrubbery Hotel in Ilminster next year to help with improvements to The Shed.

The club will be taking on sole responsibility for The Shed – the bar at Ilminster Recreation Ground – when Ilminster Town Football Club moves into its new facilities on neighbouring Britten’s Field.

The cricketers have plans to give The Shed some long-overdue improvements, but that will cost money.

A music night is planned for the Shrubbery Hotel on April 16, 2016 with all proceeds going towards The Shed project.

The band, SNAPPA, have been booked to perform while there could also be a disco or another singer lined-up for the night.

The club has said that more details about the fundraising night will be made known in the New Year.
