LEISURE: Festival of Christmas at Portsmouth with South West Coaches

STEP back in time and experience the traditions of Christmas past with a trip to Portsmouth – by travelling with Yeovil-based South West Coaches.

The Portsmouth Victorian Festival of Christmas trip is planned for Sunday, November 29, 2015, and will see people magically transported to a  Dickensian-style  bygone era of snowy white streets, seasonal carols and a host of colourful characters including Fagin, the town crier and cheeky scamp.

The Historic Dockyard and its attractions will come alive with joyful performances, music and  song and the ever popular Fagin's Tavern will open its door for bawdy Music Hall style entertainment.

You will also be able to find gifts galore at the wonderful Christmas and Continental markets.

South West Coaches will be leaving Yeovil at 7.30am and from Wincanton at 8.30am.
