SOUTH SOMERSET NEWS: Jurassic Drifters get the toes tapping

RESIDENTS at the Burnworthy House care home in South Petherton enjoyed an afternoon of music from the Jurassic Drifters.

Staff and residents enjoyed tapping their toes and singing along to hits from the ukulele group, who performed songs from the 1930s through to the 1960s.

Karen Roberts, manager of Burnworthy House, said: “I would like to say a big thank you to the Jurassic Drifters for their fantastic performance. We all had a great evening singing away to some of our favourite tunes.”

Somerset Care – which runs Burnworthy House - is one of the largest not-for-profit healthcare providers in southern England with 31 care homes looking after 1,550 residents.
