SOUTH SOMERSET NEWS: Elderly woman knocked over in hit and run

POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a van’s wing mirror clipped a pedestrian in Ilchester before driving off.

An elderly woman was using a crossing in Church   Street at about 11.35am on Tuesday, September 29, 2015, when she was clipped by the van’s mirror, causing her to fall over.

The vehicle, which is described as a white camper van with red stripes on, drove off in the direction of the A37.
