YEOVIL NEWS: Maplin supports National Home Security Month

THE Maplin store in Yeovil will this weekend (October 3-5, 2015) be giving out free home security advice to customers.

It is all part of National Home Security Month and the Maplin store on the HoundstoneRetailPark.

A Maplin spokesman said: “We are proud to support Home Security Month. Maplin has a vast range of home security products such as CCTV kits, security alarms and detectors, smoke alarms and dummy products.

“We offer helpful and professional advice, hints and tips about home security and provide technology that help people feel safe within their homes and protect their homes when they are not in.”

The first week of NHSM concentrates on simple tips and advice on how to protect your home and belongings.

Week Two will focus on door and window security, Week Three will look at home safes and burglar alarms, while Week Four puts the spotlight on shed and garage security.

The final week will see NHSM look at the future of “smart” security and the evolution of the “smart” home.
