YEOVIL NEWS: Stolen car smashes into wall

POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a stolen car was in collision with a wall in Yeovil.

Offenders got into a property in Swallowcliffe Gardens through an insecure door at around 6.30am on Thursday (September 24, 2015).

A police spokesman said: “They stole car keys from inside and drove off in the victim’s purple Citroen C3 which was parked outside.

“The car was driven dangerously before crashing into the wall of a property in The Park at around 7am. It was later found abandoned in Sedgemoor Close.”

A 43-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of burglary. He’s been released on bail until November 6, 2015.
