LEISURE: Get on board the Warwickshire Weekender

YEOVIL-BASED South West Coaches is offering people the chance to step back in time to an age of elegance, romance and treachery in Warwickshire – famous as the birthplace of William Shakespeare.

The trip runs from Saturday, October 3, 2015, through to Monday, October 5, 2015, and is priced at £209 per person on a half-board basis.

The first day will see people enjoy the sights and ambience of Stratford-upon-Avon – the birthplace of England’s greatest writer, Shakespeare.

The second day will involve a trip to WarwickCastle, while on day three there will be a visit to the CoventryTransportMuseum before heading home.

The party will stay at the four-star Walton Hotel in Wellsbourne, which shares 65 acres of rolling parkland with the adjacent Walton Hall and is perfectly located for short breaks in Warwickshire.
