YEOVIL NEWS: Bring It On is a musical success for Motiv8

THE cast and team of Motiv8 Productions will be taking a well earned rest after last week’s high energy performance of Bring It On at the Octagon Theatre in Yeovil.

Five performances were provided for audiences at the theatre from May 20-23, 2015, with the show based around rival cheerleading teams from Truman High School and Jackson High School.

It was the entertainment group’s first-ever musical and it was certainly a success with audiences loving the fast-paced show with amazing dance routines and daredevil gymnastics.

Director and choreographer Dan Warr put together an exciting show along with musical director Matt Holmes.

There were some great performances as well with Anya Paddock as Campbell, Flic Keirle as Bridget and Amy Schafer as Skylar among the leading lights, while Jake Turner should be praised for his fab performance of La Cienaga.YEOVIL NEWS: Bring It On is a musical success for Motiv8

The cast used the whole of the stage area with the band strategically placed at the back and elevated.

For a first musical – the Motiv8 team should be rightly proud of their efforts.

The entire cast and behind-the-scenes group should take a bow. They thoroughly deserve to be applauded.
