SOMERSET NEWS: Mobility scooter man falls into pond

A MAN had to be rescued by firefighters this evening after falling off his mobility scooter into a pond.

The incident happened at just after 6.45pm at Greenham, Wellington, and two fire engines were mobilised this evening (Monday, May 25, 2015).

A Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: “Crews rescued the mal who was quite near to the bank and assisted the male onto a stretcher for the ambulance paramedics.”
