YEOVIL NEWS: Charity ball with Funtasia Entertainment!

THOUSANDS of pounds will be raised tonight (Saturday, April 25, 2015) when Yeovil-based Funtasia Entertainment Ltd holds its annual charity ball.

It will be Funtasia’s eighth black tie charity ball at Westland leisure complex in Yeovil and the previous events have amassed nearly £80,000 for local good causes.

The beneficiaries of this year’s Spring Charity Ball will be St Margaret’s Somerset Hospice and the Yeovil Young Achievers Trust.YEOVIL NEWS: Charity ball with Funtasia Entertainment!

Russell Lee, of Funtasia, said: “We are very proud to be holding our eighth charity ball and we’ve managed to raise an amazing £76,000 in seven years with the support of local businesses, friends and family.

“We have another exciting evening planned which will be include three-course dinner and dancing to fantastic local 12-piece band DT8. We’ll also have professional compere and DJ, Steve Carpenter, who will be playing all the favourite tunes.”

New for this year will be an ice cream tricycle serving free Lovingtons ice cream for ball-goers to enjoy.

There will be some fun interactive entertainment to keep people amused including five-table fun casino, two photo booths, rodeo bull and a saloon bar shoot-out.

The event’s popularity was proven by the end of January with all 35 tables having been sold.
