LIVE THEATRE: The Wizard of Oz with Castaway Theatre Group

TICKETS have gone on sale more than a year in advance of Castaway Theatre Group’s scheduled production of The Wizard of Oz at the Octagon Theatre in Yeovil.

The Yeovil-based Castaways are still on a high following a performance at the Theatre Royal in Drury Lane, London, last weekend where they performed a medley from The Wizard of Oz in front of a 1,500-crowd.

The group is busy rehearsing for the full production – being directed by Lynn Lee Brown – which will be staged at the Octagon from Thursday, June 2, 2016, through to Saturday, June 4, 2016.

Matthew Holmes will be the show’s musical director, while Kirsty Beaumont will be the choreographer.

There will be performances nightly at 7.30pm, plus a Saturday matinee at 2.30pm.
