YEOVIL NEWS: Quiz held in memory of Ellie

A QUIZ night held at Yeovil Rugby Club raised a whopping £1,000 for the Leukaemia and Lymphoma Society.

The event last night (Wednesday, March 25, 2015) was organised by Red Berry Recruitment in memory of Ellie Harper, a greatly missed colleague, who died last year at the age of just 32.YEOVIL NEWS: Quiz held in memory of Ellie

Quizmaster for the night, Red Berry’s managing director Helen Lacey, thanked everyone for attending the quiz which was a massive success and enjoyable evening for all the 21 teams taking part.

The winners of the quiz were the Monahan’s Quartet while The No Brainers received the wooden spoon.

A raffle was also held on the night where prizes such as a Henry cleaner donated by Chard-based Numatic International through to a Tablet PC donated by Labyrinth Computers, of Yeovil, could be won.

Helen said: “Overall we raised £1,012 for the chosen charity which is absolutely amazing.

“We would like to say a BIG thank you to everyone that attended and to all the people and companies that also donated raffle prizes for the evening.”
