SOUTH SOMERSET NEWS: Hospice coffee morning organisers thank supporters

ORGANISERS of a coffee morning in aid of St Margaret’s Somerset Hospice have said a BIG thank you to everyone for their support.

Beauty in the Attic and Head Kandi at the Stoford Garage site in Newton Road, Stoford, hosted the coffee morning as part of the hospice’s Time for Tea initiative on Friday (March 20, 2015).

There was tea, coffee and cakes for people to enjoy and organisers Gemma Lawrence and Lucy Gillard are now waiting to hear from the hospice how much was placed in the collecting tins.

Gemma said: “Thank you to all our clients, friends and family for their support and donations. We’ve sent the money off to the hospice’s fundraising department and now just waiting to find out how much we raised.”

UPDATE - FRIDAY, MARCH 27, 2015: The amount of money raised at the coffee morning amounted to a superb £121.91.
