YEOVIL NEWS: Road collision on Lyde Road

FIREFIGHTERS were mobilised this afternoon (Wednesday, March 4, 2015) to reports of a road traffic collision in Yeovil.

The alarm was raised at just after 4.30pm to the incident in Lyde Road and one fire engine from Yeovil was mobilised.

A Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: “Crews found all persons free and clear of the vehicles with casualties being treated by ambulance personnel at the scene.

“Crews made both vehicles safe and prevented liquids that were leaking from one vehicle entering the drains and water courses.”
