CARNIVAL: Annual meeting in Chard

CHARD Carnival Committee is on the lookout for more volunteers to help with this year’s event.

The committee will be holding its annual meeting on Thursday, February 19, 2015, at the Lordleaze Hotel in Chard from 7.30pm.

Committee chairman Andy Chant said: “All new members would be made very welcome.

“We have had a very good Carnival year in 2014 and want to continue being successful, but to do this we need the support of the local people of Chard.”
