SOUTH SOMERSET NEWS: Two people stuck in lift

TWO people had to be rescued this afternoon (Saturday, December 27, 2014) after getting stuck in a lift in Crewkerne.

Two fire engines from Crewkerne and Beaminster, in neighbouring Dorset, were called out at just after 4.30pm to the problem in South   Street.

A spokesman for the Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service told the Yeovil Press: “Crews released two people and made the lift safe.”
