SOUTH SOMERSET NEWS: Police name road crash victim

A MAN who died following a road traffic incident on the A372 in Somerset earlier this week has been named as Reece Turner of Yeovil.

Mr Turner, aged 41, died at the scene following the incident at 9am near Podimore on Wednesday (October 29, 2014).

The incident involved three vehicles - a van, articulated lorry and a car - is currently being investigated by the force’s collision investigation unit, who are being assisted by the Health and Safety Executive and the Vehicle and Operator Services Agency.

A police spokesman said: “We are still appealing for witnesses following the incident and would like to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time.

“Anyone able to help is asked to contact the collision investigation unit on the force number 101.”
