SOUTH SOMERSET NEWS: Funeral details announced for Katie Bagwell

THE funeral for Katie Bagwell – who was killed in a road crash earlier this month – will be held on Friday, November 7, 2014.

Katie, 19, of South Petherton, died as a result of a road crash which happened early on Sunday, October 19, 2014, when a car she was travelling in plunged into the River Parrett in between Kingsbury Episcopi and Martock near to the junction of Broadmead and Hawthorn Hill.

The funeral service will be held at St Peter and St Paul’s Church in South Petherton at 11am on November 7. The service will be followed by a private burial for immediate family members only.

A page set up on social networking Facebook, entitled In Loving Memory of Katie Ann Bagwell, has asked that everyone planning on attending the funeral service at the church should arrive in plenty of time.

“There is limited parking and the front of the church needs to be clear of vehicles,” said a message.

“There will be an immediate family only burial afterwards, but we hope to see as many of you at the ceremony as possible to join us in remembering Katie.”
