LIVE THEATRE: The Addams Family with the Yeovil Youth Theatre

THE Yeovil Youth Theatre is getting prepared for its forthcoming production of The Addams Family at the Octagon Theatre.

The YYT will be presenting the show from November 18-22, 2014, at 7.30pm with also a Saturday (Nov 22, 2014) matinee at 2.30pm.

The award-winning company will be wowing the crowds once again at the Octagon following smash-hit successes with CATS, Billy Elliot and Our House.

The Addams Family features an original story and it is every father’s nightmare.

Wednesday Addams, the ultimate princess of darkness, has grown up and fallen in love with a sweet, smart young man from a respectable family. A man her parents have never met.

And if that was not upsetting enough, she confides in her father and begs him not to tell her mother.

Now, Gomez Addams must do something he's never done before - keep a secret from his beloved wife, Morticia.

Everything will change for the whole family on the fateful night they host a dinner for Wednesday's "normal" boyfriend and his parents.

Come meet the family. We'll leave the lights off for you.

Tickets are priced £16 for adults and £14 for concessions.

The Addams Family first came to prominence with the TV show from 1964-66 and then again in the film version of 1991.
