SOUTH SOMERSET NEWS: Man arrested over Bruton hit and run

POLICE have arrested a 38-year-old man from the London area on suspicion of death by dangerous driving in relation to the hit and run incident in Bruton.

A police spokesman said: “He currently remains in police custody.”

This relates to the death of an 84-year-old man in Cole Road, Bruton, on Tuesday, October 14, 2014.

The police spokesman added: “We have now located the car believed to have been involved in the incident.”
