SCHOOL NEWS: Open day and evening at Preston School

PRESTON School in Yeovil will be throwing open its doors to potential future students and their parents.

The school, which is also a business and enterprise academy, will be holding its annual Open Day and Evening on Thursday, October 9, 2014.

The school will be open from 9am to 12noon where visitors will be able to go and see Preston “in action.”

A school spokesman said: “Please come to the main school reception and you will be taken on a guided tour of the school conducted by Year 11 prefects.”

The open evening at Preston will be held between 5.30pm and 8.30pm where people will be able to see the school’s superb facilities and resources.

“People will be able to talk to some of our talented teachers and see examples of our students’ work,” added the spokesman.
