YEOVIL NEWS: Woman receives cut wrist in assault

POLICE are appealing for witnesses to an assault on a woman in the Westfield Avenue area of Yeovil.

A woman received a cut to her left wrist on Saturday, September 13, 2014, at around 5am.

The suspect is described as a white woman, in her mid-20s, medium build, around 5’9’’ tall, with a husky voice and wearing a black hooded top which was pulled down over her face.

The suspect was with another woman described as white 5’9” tall, with a slim build, also wearing black hooded top with tracksuit bottoms.

A police spokesman told the Yeovil Press: The second woman did not get involved but made off with the suspect towards Westfield Road.”

The police have released this information this afternoon (Monday, September 22, 2014).
