THE Octagon Theatre in Yeovil, in partnership with Evolution Productions, is looking for girls to be part of this year’s spectacular pantomime – Jack and the Beanstalk.

Auditions will take place at 11am on Sunday, September 21, 2014, at the Octagon Theatre.

To audition you must be aged between eight and 15 years inclusive on September 1, 2014.

A theatre spokesman said: “The audition will end at about 1pm, but you may need to stay longer if you are successful.

“Bring water, but no food or other drinks. Come wearing comfortable clothes and soft/dance shoes. You will be taught a routine on the day.”

And the spokesman added: “We require a total commitment to the pantomime from the rehearsal period to the full run of the performance from November 22, 2014, to January 4, 2015.”

Tickets for the show are already selling well with the opening performance of the show coming on Friday, December 5, 2014.

Once again the show is being written Paul Hendy and produced by Evolution – the same team who brought the sensational and record-breaking Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs to the Octagon last year.
