YEOVIL NEWS: Four people rescued from Marks and Spencer store lift

FOUR people had to be rescued this afternoon (Tuesday, September 2, 2014) after getting stuck in a life at the Marks and Spencer store in Yeovil.

Two fire engines from Yeovil were called out to the store in Middle Street at just after 12.30pm.

A Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service spokesman told the Yeovil Press: “On arrival the crews made contact with four females in a lift. The crews were able to lower the lift and release the people to safety.”
