EXAM RESULTS 2014: Yeovil College is proud of results

THE vice-principal of Yeovil College, Nikki Sendell, has said everyone involved with the campus should be extremely proud of today’s (Thursday, August 14, 2014) A-Level exam results.

College students gained an overall A-Level pass rate of 99% for the sixth year in a row - while the national average has fallen for the first time in more than 30 years.

Students also achieved more top A and A* grades than in 2013, with half of students achieving A* to B.

Vice-principal Nikki Sendell said “From top universities to internationally renowned companies, Yeovil College students are supported to aim high.

“With hard work and the support of staff, friends and family, they can achieve the very best for themselves and today’s results demonstrate the high levels of success our students achieve as a result.

“We’re very proud of everyone collecting results today and delighted that, once again, our overall pass rate is 99% for students on full-time A Level programmes.”

She added: “This is the sixth year in a row that our students have achieved this pass rate, showing a level of consistency and reliability that can be trusted by new students and parents alike.

“There have been some exciting changes and developments at Yeovil College recently which will further enhance the experience for all students joining us next month.

“We look forward to another exciting and successful year.”
