SOMERSET NEWS: People treated by paramedic

THREE people needed treatment from paramedics this evening (Wednesday, July 30, 2014) following a fire at a home near Bridgwater.

Three fire engines from Bridgwater were mobilised to a home in nearby Puriton at just before 6.30pm.

A Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service spokesman told the Yeovil Press: “Crews confirmed one plastic kettle involved in a fire, but was out prior to our arrival.

“We ventilated the property before leaving the scene and three people were treated at the scene by paramedics.”

The spokesman added: “Fire investigation was also carried out at the incident and was believed to be accidental.”
