LIVE MUSIC: The Three Degrees are coming to Yeovil
THE world-famous group, The Three Degrees, will be performing in concert at Westlands leisure complex in Yeovil later this year.
The group – well-known for a being a favourite with Prince Charles – will be at Westlands on October 19, 2014, from 7pm.
The trio have soulful voices, beautiful gowns and fabulous stage presence. They are known all around the world for songs like When Will I See You Again, Dirty Ol Man and Take Good Care of Yourself.
A spokesman for Westlands Yeovil told the Yeovil Press: “They have been continuously touring for more than 40 years and still touring to this day.
“To say this is a once in a lifetime event for the people of Yeovil is an understatement and we are glad the late night calls to the States have made this happen.”
Tickets are priced £15 plus booking fee and go on sale at 9am on Monday (July 28, 2014) on the Westland website at www.westlandonline.co.uk/buy_tickets.htm.
The current line-up of The Three Degrees is original member Helen Scott, who has been in the group from 1963-66 and then from 1976 onwards, Valerie Scott who has been with the group since 1967 and recent newcomer Freddie Pool from 2011.
