SOMERSET NEWS: Female casualty in road crash

THE roof of a car had to be cut off this evening (Wednesday, July 23, 2014) in order to get a female out of a car following a crash in Somerset.

Two fire engines from Taunton were mobilised at just before 7pm to the incident in Bindon Road after receiving a call from police.

The crash involved two vehicles and firefighters had to remove the roof of one of the vehicles in order to get the trapped female casualty.

A Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service spokesman told the Yeovil Press: “Crews removed the roof and the casualty was handed over to the care of paramedics.”
