SOMERSET NEWS: Severe burns following car fire

A PERSON was left with severe burns last night (Friday, June 27, 2014) following a car fire in Somerset.

Firefighters were called out at just before 10pm to the incident in Cheddar Gorge where they found one vehicle alight in a car park.

A spokesman for Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service said: “One person had been pulled clear of the car with severe burns before the arrival of the Fire Service personnel.

“That person was treated by the Ambulance Service which was also in attendance.”
