SOUTH SOMERSET NEWS: Car destroyed in fire

A CAR was completely destroyed by fire this afternoon and the problems spread to adjoining buildings.

The alarm was raised at just before 5.30pm to the incident at Seven Acres in Somerton and two fire engines from the town were mobilised.

A spokesman for Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service said: “The vehicle was 100 per cent damaged by the fire which also damaged the door and garage door of one property and two windows, a door and fascia of a neighbouring house.”
