SOUTH SOMERSET NEWS: Casualty taken to hospital
ONE person was taken to hospital this afternoon (Thursday, April 24, 2014) following a car accident at Somerton.
Firefighters from Somerton, Martock and Yeovil were mobilised at just before 12.45pm to the incident at Catgore Road.
They discovered an accident involving one car with a person trapped within the vehicle.
A spokesman for the Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service said: “One casualty was released from the vehicle by fire crews using hydraulic cutting equipment and taken to hospital via ambulance.”
