Football: How many keepers have Yeovil Town used in the Football League?

QUESTION of the day: How many goalkeepers have appeared between the posts for Yeovil Town since the Glovers have been in the Football League?

The Glovers are now into their 11th season as a Football League club and it looks increasingly likely that their fourth game of 2013-14 will see them use their fourth keeper of this current campaign.

Yeovil kicked-off their first-ever season in the Sky Bet Championship with Marek Stech in the opener at Millwall, but he had go off injured early in their second match with Birmingham City and was replaced by goalkeeper coach Gareth Stewart.

That led to Yeovil boss Gary Johnson bringing in on loan Manchester United’s Sam Johnstone and he played in the 2-0 defeat at Burnley on August 17.

But he too is now injured and it looks as if Johnson is going to bring in on loan Wolves and Wales keeper Wayne Hennessey to take up the gloves for Saturday’s game with Derby County at Huish Park.

Johnson could also use former Coventry City and Northampton Town keeper Chris Dunn who has also joined Yeovil as a free agent.

But whether it be Dunn or Hennessey in between the posts on Saturday – they will become Yeovil’s 18th goalkeeper used in the Football League.
