There will be face-painting, cream teas, barbecue, ice cream and various games including hook a duck, play your cards right, 10p roll-up, disc drop and clown target.

There will also be a bouncy castle and, even, the stocks for some willing volunteers to take their ‘punishment.’

Al the fun starts at 2pm, while there will be live music in the evening.

A spokesman for the event said: “Come and have some fun, raise some money for the Flying Colours Appeal and see what the RAOB Club is all about.”

The Flying Colours Appeal is raising £500,000 to be able to update the current special care baby unit within the Women’s Hospital at Yeovil.
