EMERGENCY services responded to an accident this afternoon on the A359 at Mudford Hill at Mudford.

 

The alarm was raised at just before 5.30pm when the Fire Service received a call from the Ambulance Service about a collision involving a motorbike. One fire engine from Yeovil attended the incident.

 

A spokesman for the Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service said: ''We absorbed a fuel spillage on the roadway and made the vehicle safe.''

 

The spokesman said one male casualty was taken to hospital by ambulance.
