Club Neo gets ready for Zero Project on Halloween night

THE Zero Project is offering an alternative this Halloween to trick or treating by holding one of its successful under 18’s club nights at Club Neo in Yeovil.

The event will take place at the nightspot in Stars Lane, Yeovil, on Wednesday, October 31, from 7pm to 11pm.

To get young clubbers into the Halloween Party mood they are encouraged to come in fancy dress with prizes for the best boy, girl and group.

There will be music with resident DJ Clifty with his mix of urban favorites, Funky House and Ibiza style dance anthems as well as live performances by London Hip Hop star Rising Son and local artists Connor Solle and Plodge.

Zero has been successfully running under 18 events during school holidays for the past four years and has the support of the local Police, District and County Councils, NHS, REACH, local schools, youth organisations and parents.

One local parent commented, “Having spoken to other parents who had children attending Club Neo, I can tell you that I am not alone in my praise for how well the evening was organised and most importantly the kids loved it and can’t wait for the next one!”

Cllr Ian Martin commented “The Zero night at Club Neo really is the coolest place for 14 to 17 year olds to be for Halloween this year. Be safe, enjoy, have fun!”

The project promotes zero tolerance to alcohol and anti-social behaviour, and safe routes to and from the club. The Zero team endeavours to ensure a safe passage to the nearby Stars Lane car park at the end of the evening. The Street Pastors are also on hand to assist and help ensure that club goers reach their lifts and homes safely.

Entry is £5 on the door, open to 14, 15, 16 and 17 year olds. Information about forthcoming and past events as well as a photo gallery can be found at www.facebook.com/zeroclubbers.

A further New Year ‘Snow’ Party is being planned for Wednesday, January 2, at Club Neo.
