Football: Latest results and tables from the Yeovil & District League

ILCHESTER made it six wins from six in the Premier Division of the Yeovil and District League on Saturday (September 29, 2012) with a 7-0 win over Odcombe.

Ilchester lead the table with a maximum 18-point haul and are five points clear of second-placed Tor FC who eased to victory at the weekend with a 5-0 success at home against Barwick & Stoford. Tor have a game in hand, however, in which to close the gap on Ilchester to just two points.

Odcombe and Barwick & Stoford are at the foot of the table and still looking for their first points of the season.

Division One front-runners Abbey Moor made it five wins on the bounce with a 5-1 success over Stoke.

Brhoden and Pen Mill could go level on points with Abbey Moor at the top of the table if they win their games in hand.

Pen Mill gained a 4-3 success at Butleigh Dynamos last weekend, while Brhoden had a narrow 1-0 win over Normalair Reserves.

Mudford moved top of Division Two with a 2-1 win at Somerton Rown Reserves, while the division's two bottom clubs, Pen Mill Reserves and FC Barton Leverkusen, both lost to remain in search of their first wins of the campaign.

Division Three leaders Manor Athletic dropped their first points of the season when they were held to a 2-2 draw at Milborne Port A.

Manor still hold a one-point advantage at the top over second-placed AFC Huish Reserves who triumphed 4-2 at Aller Park Rangers Reserves last weekend.
