THIS autumn experience the magic of Sleeping Beauty as the Russian State Ballet and Opera House brings the delightful ballet classic to a the Octagon Theatre in Yeovil on Sunday, October 14, 2012.

Pyotr I. Tchaikovsky’s classic will be sure to enchant audiences. Composed in 1889 and still scored to original music of Tchaikovsky, Sleeping Beauty remains one of the most well-known and loved ballets of all time. First performed at the Mariinsky Theatre in St. Petersburg in 1890, the story of Sleeping Beauty is one of romance and eternal love.

Today the timeless tale of Sleeping Beauty continues to capture the imagination of its audience and inspire both young and old.

The world famous Russian State Ballet and Opera Theatre of Komi has delighted audiences since 1958. They are renounced for their ballet and opera masterpieces.
